As we scale development and manufacturing of our core product lines, we are looking for a Product Manager, Thermoelectric Modules to take direct ownership of our TEC and TEG product lines, from roadmap and requirements through launch, while also helping run select projects day to day.

About the Role

The Product Manager, Thermoelectric Modules owns the product strategy, requirements, and roadmap for Sheetak's thermoelectric cooler (TEC) and thermoelectric generator (TEG) product lines, spanning the CENTUM family (Single Stage, C3 multistage, µCENTUM) and the Energy Harvesting line. This role leads with market intelligence: staying ahead of technology trends, competitive moves, and emerging applications in thermoelectrics and adjacent cooling approaches, then turning that intelligence into a sharp, well-justified roadmap. That research is backed by hands-on product management: writing PRDs, prioritizing trade-offs, and driving products from concept through launch. A secondary responsibility is acting as project manager on a subset of initiatives, keeping cross-functional work on schedule between design freeze and launch.

While this role is well suited to someone early in their product management career, we're looking for someone who learns quickly, stays curious, and gets things done.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap for TEC and TEG product lines, balancing near-term customer commitments against longer-term product strategy and the opportunities surfaced through market research

• Write and maintain PRDs and product requirement documents, and define product positioning and differentiation for µCENTUM, CENTUM, and Energy Harvesting lines against competitive alternatives

• Prioritize feature and configuration trade-offs based on target application requirements

• Continuously track trends across Sheetak's target end markets (optoelectronics, AI infrastructure and datacenter cooling, aerospace, defense, medical, and industrial) to anticipate where thermal management demand is headed next

• Monitor the technology landscape for thermoelectric materials, device architectures, and packaging approaches, and maintain a structured view of the competitive landscape, benchmarking competitor products on performance, pricing, and positioning

• Convert customer conversations, RFQs, win/loss patterns, and market signals into structured research findings and prioritized product opportunities

• Scout new technologies, materials, and market segments for whitespace opportunities, and bring roadmap proposals forward with clear supporting research and rationale

• Act as the primary product point of contact between Engineering, Manufacturing, Applications Engineering, and Sales for the TEC/TEG portfolio, supporting pricing and quoting decisions and presenting product and project status updates to leadership

• Own go-to-market readiness for new TEC/TEG products and monitor post-launch performance, feeding learnings back into the roadmap and the market research process

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, or related discipline); advanced degree or MBA a plus

• 2 to 4+ years of product management experience for hardware or electronic components, ideally in thermal management, semiconductors, or advanced materials

• Demonstrated ability to conduct market research and competitive analysis, and to translate findings into concrete product decisions and roadmap proposals

• Demonstrated experience writing product requirements documents and driving a product from concept through launch

• Working knowledge of project management fundamentals, including scheduling, milestone tracking, and risk and dependency management, and willingness to apply them hands-on to specific projects

• Comfortable operating in a small, fast-moving organization where product and project responsibilities overlap

• Strong written and verbal communication; able to translate between engineering detail, market analysis, and customer or executive-level summary

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA, business coursework, or a minor in Business/Marketing, particularly alongside the engineering background above.

• Experience with thermoelectric devices, thermal management, or surface mount technology

• Track record of monitoring emerging materials, technologies, or trends in thermal management, semiconductors, or adjacent hard tech fields and turning that monitoring into product recommendations

• Familiarity with optoelectronics, AI infrastructure and datacenter cooling, or energy harvesting applications

• Experience with CRM/quoting tools (e.g., Pipedrive) and program scheduling tools

• PMP or similar project management certification
