Join Marco’s Pizza in Cooper City as a Shift Leader and take the next step in your restaurant leadership career.
We are looking for a dependable, motivated, and hands-on team leader who can help run strong shifts, support team members, deliver excellent customer service, and maintain Marco’s Pizza standards for quality, speed, cleanliness, and food safety.
This is a great opportunity for someone with restaurant, fast food, customer service, or team leadership experience who wants to grow into an Assistant Manager or General Manager role.

  • Duties

As a Shift Leader, you will help support the daily operation of the restaurant by:

  • Leading team members during assigned shifts.
  • Helping keep the restaurant organized, productive, and guest-focused.
  • Supporting food preparation, order accuracy, guest service, cleanliness, and shift execution.
  • Ensuring every order is prepared accurately, quickly, and according to Marco’s Pizza quality standards.
  • Coaching and supporting team members during the shift.
  • Maintaining proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety procedures.
  • Monitoring product quality, labeling, product rotation, and waste reduction.
  • Assisting with opening and closing procedures as assigned.
  • Supporting cash handling, POS operations, and basic shift paperwork.
  • Handling guest concerns professionally and communicating issues to management when needed.
  • Helping maintain cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant, including:
    • Front counter
    • Kitchen
    • Prep areas
    • Restrooms
    • Dining/lobby areas
  • Supporting the training of new team members by setting the right example.
  • Helping protect company assets, including:
  • Cash
  • Equipment
  • Inventory
  • Store property
  • Maintaining a positive, respectful, and productive work environment.
  • Communicating shift updates, equipment concerns, team performance issues, and operational needs to the Assistant Manager or General Manager.
  • Setting the example for urgency, teamwork, accountability, professionalism, and guest service.
Requirements:
  • Previous restaurant, quick-service, fast food, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Previous Shift Leader, Team Lead, Supervisor, or key holder experience is a plus.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle pressure during busy shifts.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lead by example and support team members.
  • Comfortable using POS systems, restaurant equipment, and basic store technology.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety, cleanliness, and restaurant operations preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.
  • Flexible availability required, including:
