The Busser plays a key role in supporting front-of-house operations within the convention center's food and beverage program, working in either the cafe or full-service restaurant. This position is responsible for maintaining clean and organized dining areas, assisting service staff, and ensuring guests receive an exceptional dining experience. The Busser works closely with servers, bartenders, baristas, and culinary team members to support efficient operations and create a welcoming environment for all guests.

This role pays an hourly rate of $20.00-$26.00 and is tip eligible.

This position will remain open until September 25, 2026.

• Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly and efficiently throughout service in the cafe and/or restaurant.
• Assist servers, bartenders, and baristas by delivering water, food items, condiments, and other guest requests as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining rooms, cafe seating areas, service stations, and guest-facing spaces.
• Refill ice, glassware, silverware, napkins, condiments, and other supplies throughout shifts.
• Transport dishes, glassware, and utensils to dishwashing areas.
• Support both cafe and restaurant operations based on business needs and event schedules.
• Assist with opening and closing side work duties.
• Maintain clean floors, tables, chairs, and surrounding dining areas.
• Support restaurant and cafe staff during busy service periods to ensure efficient operations.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Assist with banquet and special event setup or breakdown when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and management.

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, food service, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to follow instructions and maintain a professional appearance.
