    OVERVIEW:The Transfer Truck Driver position involves the safe and efficient operation of a Dump Truck and Transfer trailer for the transportation of materials and heavy equipment to and from our jobsites.
    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
    • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
    • Must possess Class A CDL
    • Participates in and promotes our Company Safety Program.
    • Willing and able to work long hours when needed.
    • Driving the truck to and from the job site for the delivery of equipment and/or materials
    • Transfer of HMA from the Truck into the Paver or MTV hopper, coordinating with Paver or MTV Operator
    • Skilled at equipment hauling
    • Keep truck and trailer clean and free of loose materials
    • Loading, securing, and unloading equipment onto, and from, equipment trailers in the yard and at the jobsite
    • Communicates with the Superintendent/Dispatcher/onsite Foreman to define onsite expectations
    • Follows all FMSCA rules and regulations
    • Completes daily inspection reports utilizing the ELD to meet requirements and log hours of service
    • Practices pride in ownership towards vehicles, equipment, and worksite conditions
    • Upholds the ideals of the Lakeside mission statement
    • Other duties as assigned as a part of a team

Requirements
Must be willing to join or be a current member of Teamsters in good standing. One (1) to three (3) years or more of industry related experience preferred (emphasis on paving, roads, highway, and bridges). Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
