???? A Day in the Life of a CDL Driver

As a CDL Driver, your day starts with purpose and ends with pride. You’ll be behind the wheel of our 3+ ton truck, transporting oversized and overweight loads with safety, efficiency, and a customer-first mindset. But this isn’t your average driving job—no two days are the same! Some days you’ll be on the road, others you’ll be outside the truck handling set-ups, teardowns, or installing value-added features. It’s a physical, hands-on role that’s perfect if you enjoy variety and have a knack for tools, construction, or problem-solving. You’ll interact with customers regularly, becoming a trusted face they rely on. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety ensures every unit is delivered in top condition. And the best part? You’ll enjoy steady, year-round work from Monday through Friday—Day Shift! If you take pride in your work, enjoy being on the move, and love delivering great service, this is the role for you!

???? What You’ll Do

  • Drive with purpose and precision, operating company vehicles safely and responsibly while following all DOT and oversize load regulations.
  • Deliver impact daily by transporting portable containers, offices, and modular buildings on time and with care.
  • Secure every load with confidence, ensuring all straps and protective coverings are properly in place for safe transit.
  • Own your equipment by performing pre- and post-trip inspections, reporting mileage, and keeping your vehicle in top condition.
  • Stay connected and informed, maintaining clear communication with dispatch and operations to ensure smooth, efficient deliveries.
  • Be the face of our service, providing professional, courteous customer support at every drop-off and pick-up location.
  • Build and break down with skill, setting, leveling, and dismantling modular buildings using piers, pads, blocks, and anchors.
  • Keep safety first, coordinating vehicle maintenance and conducting spot checks to identify and address potential hazards.
  • Step up when needed, performing minor roadside repairs like tire changes and axle fixes to keep things moving.
  • Wrap up strong, completing end-of-day clean-up and equipment servicing to maintain a safe and organized workspace.
  • Use your tech savvy, leveraging basic computer skills to manage logs, checklists, and customer sign-offs.
  • Adapt and contribute, taking on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and get the job done.
  • Safely operate equipment and complaint transport set-ups, including use of a ball hitch to connect the trailer to the truck.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

???? What You Bring (Must Haves)

  • A valid CDL A license
  • At least 1 year of recent, verifiable Class A CDL driving experience
  • Ability to travel out of state for training during 1st month of employment
  • Confidence using winches, straps, and tie-downs to secure heavy loads
  • Readiness and physical ability to perform labor-intensive tasks, including assisting with the setup, maintenance, and teardown of modular buildings when not driving
  • Physical strength to lift up to 50lbs to shoulder height
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • A Real ID for compliance and travel readiness

????Nice to Haves

  • Proven experience with oversize load hauling, strongly desired!
  • Hands-on experience transporting containers and/or modular buildings is a plus!
  • Familiarity with Landoll or Low-boy trailers, preferred

Special Considerations:
Certain roles may require a clean-shaven face to ensure proper use of safety equipment. Candidates must be prepared to adhere to grooming standards specific to each site.
