Job description

Job Title:  Teamcenter Architect

Location: Dearborn, Michigan-Onsite/ Ohio-onsite

Mode: Contract (6+ Months)

Job Description:

Role Summary:

A Teamcenter Architect acts as the technical backbone of PLM implementations, ensuring that the system supports product development efficiently across the organization.

  • A Teamcenter Architect is responsible for defining and implementing the overall system architecture of Teamcenter solutions. They ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop Teamcenter architecture (2-tier, 4-tier, SOA-based environments)
  • Lead installation, configuration, and upgrades of Teamcenter systems
  • Define data models, workflows, and business processes within Teamcenter
  • Integrate Teamcenter with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CAD tools)
  • Ensure system performance, security, and scalability
  • Provide technical leadership to developers and administrators
  • Troubleshoot complex system issues and optimize performance
  • Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions

Required Skills:

  • Strong expertise in Teamcenter PLM architecture
  • Knowledge of ITK, BMIDE, SOA, Active Workspace
  • Experience with database systems (Oracle, SQL Server)
  • Understanding of CAD integrations (NX, SolidWorks, etc.)
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture and system integration
  • Programming/scripting knowledge (Java, C++, XML)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Several years of experience in Teamcenter development/administration
  • Experience in PLM implementations and upgrades
