Conduct various types of building inspections. Ensure that all work is completed in a timely manner, that clients are taken care of, with a focus on quality engineering, and that we help our clients build as efficiently as possible, and correctly.

SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE – This Role:


  • Perform inspection work as scheduled.
  • Complete all paperwork and documentation, digital and physical, for inspection work performed.
  • Email/submit paperwork before leaving work.
  • Ensure pictures are logged on Company Cam from every site visited.
  • Complete the electronic ADP timesheet in real-time (as you start or stop work)
  • Report any discrepancies or problems encountered during the performance of the work task immediately to your supervisor.
  • Document all discrepancies or problems as required.
  • Maintain company assigned vehicle in a safe, clean, working order.
  • Personnel are required to keep up with and perform all vehicle maintenance as required and maintain a written vehicle maintenance and fuel logbook.
  • Provide fleet manager a copy of the logbook once a month.
  • Be on the lookout for work from existing clients and potential clients.
  • Communicate information with the department supervisor and marketing lead through HubSpot and verbally as needed.
  • Assist with take-offs and proposals as needed.
  • Assist in answering phone calls and scheduling work tasks as needed.


Job Type: Full Time, Hours vary for department needs, overtime as necessary.






Requirements:
  • Must be a Licensed building inspector (Board of Building Code Administrators, Chapter 468, F.S.), structural as a minimum but other categories (1&2 family, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire, etc.) are valued.
  • This role requires lifting of up to 50 lbs., daily. Daily bending, walking, riding in lifts, and driving for long periods throughout the day.
