Toddler Lead Teacher

Description:

As a team leader, the Teacher is responsible for curriculum implementation, the overall supervision and management of a safe, developmentally appropriate toddler classroom, parent involvement, and ensuring compliance with city and state regulatory agencies. Candidates must be extremely motivated, passionate, and capable of multi-tasking. Must have a positive attitude and able to interact with families, parents and children.

Responsibilities:

  • Meeting the individual needs of the children
  • Participation in staff and training meetings
  • Arrange rooms and furniture to support the development of the children in the classroom
  • Understanding of child development and age appropriate activities
  • Knowledge of teaching strategies Gold Assessment
  • Knowledge of Creative Curriculum
  • Implementation of activities that develop self-esteem and social skills
  • Develop developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with common core standards
  • Develop developmentally appropriate lesson and implement lesson plans
  • Computer literate- ability to input and submit observations onto Teaching Strategies GOLD
  • Parent and Teacher Conferences three times per year

Qualifications:
