About the position:
  • Full-time academic faculty physician position in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Opportunity to join the core faculty team in an academic and clinical environment
  • Role focused on teaching the next generation of physicians, including residents and medical students
  • Participate in didactic teaching, journal clubs, clinical case conferences, and other educational activities
  • Involvement in the department's clinical care, research, and teaching missions
  • Supervision and education of medical students and residents in multiple clinical settings, including:
  • Inpatient services
  • Labor & Delivery
  • Operating Room
  • Outpatient clinics
  • Opportunities to collaborate with colleagues engaged in local, regional, and national healthcare access initiatives
  • Participation in a department with externally funded research programs
  • Opportunities to engage in basic science research, including work related to hypertensive diseases in pregnancy
  • Access to a cadaveric surgical training facility used for OB/GYN resident and student education
  • Involvement in quality improvement initiatives across inpatient and outpatient care settings
Background Profile: OB/GYN Faculty
  • MD, DO, or MBBS degree
  • Completion of a 4-year OB/GYN residency
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Federally issued DEA license
  • Board-eligible candidates must obtain board certification as soon as feasible
