Independence Jr/Sr High School is seeking the following:
English/Language Arts Teacher - Grades 9-12

  • 2026-2027 School Year

Qualifications/Education Profile

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an education discipline applicable to the teaching assignment.
  • Certification/License:  State of Iowa Teaching License
  • Endorsement(s):  5-12 English/Language Arts (120)
  • Prior successful teaching experience at the appropriate grade level is preferred but not required.

Note:  The school district reserves the right to fill any position before the application deadline.  Interviews will start immediately upon receiving viable applicants.
