Take on a rewarding, contract-based role supporting students in a single, K-8 school setting as a Special Education Teacher. With three full-time openings available, you’ll have the opportunity to make a direct impact within a collaborative team, helping guide students with diverse learning needs. The assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through May 28, 2027.
You’ll manage a caseload of 16 students, handling all aspects of Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and implementation. If you’re ready to start making a difference, interviews can be arranged quickly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hold, or be eligible for, licensure as an Intervention Specialist
- Experience or training in K-8 Special Education settings
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in writing and managing IEPs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, write, and update Individualized Education Programs according to student needs and legal guidelines
- Lead and participate in IEP meetings with staff and families
- Provide specially designed instruction (SDI) for students in accordance with their IEPs
- Consistently track and report on student progress and performance
- Coordinate and collaborate with general educators, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
- Foster an inclusive learning environment adaptable to varied student requirements

- Contract, full-time schedule (5 days per week)
