Responsibilities:

· Substitute teacher must deliver lesson plans provided by the absent teacher, ensuring continuity in students' education.

· Substitute teacher must adapt to different classroom environments and grade levels, maintaining a positive and productive atmosphere.

· Substitute teacher must manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe, respectful learning environment.

· Substitute teacher must communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents as needed.

· Substitute teacher must follow school district policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

· Must have 30 college credits with 2.0 GPA or higher.

· Must be at least 21 years old.

· Must provide three (3) professional references.

· Must demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States.

· Must have proof of a completed background check for the State Department of Education. Typically includes a fingerprint-based criminal background check, which often includes child abuse and neglect registry check, or as required by state law and/or school district policy

· Must have a current Substitute License or Authorization, if available in your state.

· Strong communication and classroom management skills.

· Ability to adapt quickly to different educational settings and grade levels.

· Passion for education and making a positive impact on students' lives.

Desired

· Previous experience in teaching or substitute teaching is highly desirable.
