Job Description
The Associate Program Director, Principal Faculty for the Physician Assistant Program, will work closely with the Program Director to develop and implement the programs curriculum; create, document, and evaluate educational outcomes measures; and oversee all aspects of instruction and operations of the program. This individual may also hold an additional director role within the program, depending on the successful candidates expertise and interests. This is a full-time position with a salary and competitive benefits commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Required Qualifications
Masters degree as a PA NCCPA Certified Current license (or eligibility) to practice in Tennessee of a border state (KY, NC, or GA) Three or more years of experience in PA education, including two or more years in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating an accredited PA program. Actively seeking a doctoral degree or willing to obtain one.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge and experience with Physician Assistant program accreditation standards and process Demonstrated excellence in teaching Previous experience as an Assistant/Associate Program Director within a Physician Assistant Program Supervisory or managerial experience A minimum of three years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant Broad understanding of technological platforms commonly utilized in Physician Assistant education for curriculum mapping and clinical tracking
