Note: This individual will be responsible for overseeing multiple stores across Pennsylvania and is ideally located in or near the Harrisburg area.

The Direct Accounts Merchandiser makes an impact by -
  • Responsible to rotate, stock, and take inventory of Turkey Hill Tea products at various store locations.
  • Provide market conditions and insight upon request and/or when observed.
  • Collaborate with Field Services Supervisor to establish and maintain data necessary for customer delivery processes.
  • Responsible to maintain professional relationships with all customers and employees.
  • Travel to store locations in a 50-mile radius.
  • Perform all duties in compliance with all corporate and regulatory quality, GLP, and safety regulations.
  • Perform all duties within established Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and FSMA guidelines as well as all safety regulations.
  • Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Food Safety and Quality.
  • Demonstrate the ability to engage work in department and cross-functional teams to define and implement process improvements that provide value to the customer.
  • Be accountable to the Turkey Hill Food Safety and Quality Principles.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Physical Demands -

  • The employee is required to talk and/or hear in an office setting (noise level is low) and manufacturing setting where noise levels can be high (PPE required)
  • The employee is frequently required to stand and walk in an office or manufacturing environment from 4-8+ hours
  • The employee must be able to ascend and descend stairs, and where applicable and when necessary, to perform various job-related tasks
  • Must be able to position self to move, reach with arms/hands, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed to perform various job-related tasks
  • The employee must be able to inspect all job-related equipment (office or floor) to ensure it is in good working condition prior to use. Must be able to use hands/fingers to handle (or feel) to operate various types of office equipment.
  • Must be able to operate all job-related equipment (powered, hand or office) as required
  • Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and adjust focus
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds and/or push/pull 20 pounds on a regular or occasional basis
