Aperio Global is seeking Target Digital Network Analysts (TDNAs) to support our IC program in Fort Meade, Maryland with SIGINT analysis and expertise. You will collaborate with a team to develop shared understandings of intelligence needs, mission relevance, and areas of expertise. You will apply innate curiosity and analytical talent to form hypotheses, critically assess and choose analysis techniques, then query, merge, enrich, evaluate, and pivot within data to attain and share insights. You will distill, document, contextualize, and share findings-including any new tradecraft that you develop-with teammates, stakeholders, and intelligence consumers.
Responsibilities:
-Conducts analysis of collection and open-source data to generate insights and leads
-Ensure target continuity, profile targets and their activities, and develop techniques to gain more target information.
-Maintains appropriate databases for targeting, tasking, and analysis
-Develop comprehensive baseline profiles of designated target sets
-Identify intelligence gaps to either tailor current collection or enable new collection to close the gaps
-Employ multiple analysis disciplines such as pattern recognition against targets' communications, network usage and digital footprints
-Apply knowledge and understanding of IC needs and missions, as well as the targets' culture, behaviors, and communications technologies
-Mentors other analysts on the tools and methodologies used to conduct TDNA.
Relevant TDNA Experience:
Prior demonstrated experience in the use of software applications and databases associated with network analysis and target development.
Capable of running basic DNI and DNR queries to answer specific questions with existing customer tools.
Can task own selectors with assistance of senior analysts.
Able to evaluate leads for tasking and able to use appropriate tasking authorities.
Possess a basic understanding internet protocols, digital telecommunications technologies, and internet routing.
Possess a basic understanding of SIGINT collection.
Capable of basic target discovery and collection triage.
Certifications preferred: Sec+, Net+, CEH
Must have an active and current TS SCI with Polygraph.
Level may vary based on years of relevant work experience:
With Bachelor's Degree:
Level 1: Two (2) or more years of experience
Level 2: Five (5) or more years of experience
Level 3: Eight (8) or more years of experience
Level 4: Eleven (11) or more years of experience
***If no degree an additional 4 years of experience is required***
Salary Range for Level 1- 4: $74,000-$243,000
The salary range for this role represents Aperio's good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Placement within the range is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to an individual's qualifications, relevant experience, education, certifications, technical skills, contract labor categories and/or rates, work location, market conditions, and business needs.
