Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Determines solutions for complex issues presented by Mortgage Loan Officers

2. Coordinate, develop and manage all origination activities, processes, policies and procedures to support department objectives.

3. Manage daily production and quality expectations to achieve monthly business goals and quality service levels.

4. Participates in the deployment of new lending products and processes.

5. Leads change

6. Responsible for coaching and motivating the origination staff to achieve set production goals.

7. Proactively develops and maintains good relationships with other TDECU lines of business and external referral sources such as Realtors and Builders.

8.Responsible for working with the Mortgage Fulfillment Team to ensure service level times are meet on origination, processing, and closing.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years Leadership management experience. Five years of mortgage lending, real estate, retail sales or related experience.
