Who You Are
We are looking for a Mechanical Production Support Engineer who is enthusiastic to discover and implement solutions around our Roca Robotics platform assembly processes. As a Mechanical Production Support Engineer, you will have a great opportunity to own the mechanical assembly processes of our card sorting robotic platforms. Your contributions will help develop the future of our robot assembly processes by improving processes and tooling used during assembly and testing.
If you are a mechanical engineer with experience in the design of mechanical systems and production support, while being genuinely excited to build sorting robots that solve problems for customers, then TCGplayer is the right place for you.
The Impact You Will Make Here
  • Collaborate with other specialists, assembly technicians, quality technicians, and customer support teams to ensure we are building reliable solutions for our customers.
  • Design and Implement Tests involving card handling and mechanical designs
  • Own mechanical improvements to current and future product assembly processes.
  • Own deliverables and update collaborators on projects.
What You Bring to the Team
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering or a related field, or a combination of education and experience
  • Experience with Computer Aided Design, SolidWorks or Siemens NX preferred
  • Experience with assembling and testing prototypes
  • Experience with design for manufacturing
  • Experience owning deliverables for complex electro-mechanical system assembly.
You'll go beyond if you have
  • Experience with miniature pneumatic and vacuum systems
  • Experience with systems that handle paper and/or cardboard
  • Experience with motion control principles
  • Experience with triboelectric charge mitigation and plastics
  • Experience with Raspberry Pi or other SBCs
  • Experience with 3D Printing
  • Interest and experience within the hobby gaming industry and collectible cards
  • Experience solving and supporting production and operational technical challenges

Additional Details
The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
