Job Summary

Assist allied health instructors with clinical rotations as needed.
Establish, maintain, and evaluate clinical partnerships with healthcare agencies (e.g., hospitals, longterm care facilities, clinics, specialty units).
Manage the clinical database, schedule clinical rotations, ensuring appropriate student-to-instructor ratios and alignment with curriculum requirements.
Ensure all clinical affiliation agreements and clinical site documentation remain current and compliant with regulatory agencies. Ensure clinical activities align with curriculum standards, course objectives, and state regulations.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor learning environments and maintain strong relationships with clinical partners.
Assist in mentoring new clinical instructors on program expectations, evaluation tools, and TCAT policies.
Assist with the coordination of Basic Life Support training.
Track student clinical hours and progression toward required outcomes.
Assist with maintaining documentation required by the Tennessee Board of Nursing and accrediting bodies.
Support recruitment, orientation, and retention initiatives for Allied Health students.
Participate in faculty meetings, advisory board meetings, and continuing education to stay current in the field.
Perform all other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing and Allied Health and the President.

Job Duties

Minimum Qualifications

Current unencumbered RN license, State of Tennessee.
Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience.
Minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience in the nursing field.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficient with electronic documentation and clinical records systems.
