Tax ManagerJob description
You will work closely with other tax-focused staff members, manage staff, and work on on all phases of tax compliance, consulting projects and engagement management for multiple clients.
80% to 90% of your time will be spent on review. The staff under your supervision will do the hands-on work, becoming more effective and progressing professionally as you mentor them and push work back when corrections are needed. You'll be dealing with challenging tax issues while having the support you need to be successful.
Specifically, you will be responsible for:
  • Reviewing individual, corporate and partnership income tax returns
  • Running client engagements from start to finish, including planning, prioritizing, executing, and directing in completing tax projects while managing budgets within required time frames to complete assignments
  • Participating in staff training including motivating and monitoring their professional progress and supervising projects
  • Ensuring the highest quality of products and service
