Job description

Our client is looking for someone to join their accounting team.


Responsibilities:

Calculate, review and prepare payroll tax returns for state jurisdictions, including unemployment taxes, disability taxes and other tax related payments

Ensure accurate payroll tax rates are applied for all applicable taxing jurisdictions

Assist with payroll tax projects, audits, and other related initiatives as assigned

Manage compliance regulations


Qualifications:

Prior experience with payroll tax processing and compliance

Working knowledge of multi- state payroll tax regulations

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently, multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment

MS Office proficiency
