Role Description


This is a part-time role for a Tax Preparer Intern, based in Roswell, GA. The Tax Preparer Intern will assist with tax preparation and tax and accounting related tasks. Additionally, the role will involve support Admin tasks, collaborating with team members and maintaining accurate records to support client success.


Qualifications


Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Basic understanding of U.S. federal and state tax principles

Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Experience with QuickBooks, Drake Tax, UltraTax, ProConnect, or similar accounting/tax software is a plus

Previous bookkeeping or tax preparation experience is a plus.
