About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Tax Intern to join our team at Akamine, Oyadomari & Kosaki CPA's. As a Tax Intern, you will be responsible for assisting our tax professionals in preparing and reviewing tax returns, researching tax laws and regulations, and communicating with clients. This role will provide you with hands-on experience in tax preparation and compliance, as well as exposure to a variety of industries and clients.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax laws
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous internship or work experience in tax or accounting
  • CPA candidate or eligibility
  • Experience with tax preparation software such as UltraTax
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
Responsibilities:
