Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership & Staff Development

    Serve as a coach, mentor, and role model, fostering the growth, engagement, and success of tax professionals. Actively participate in performance management, including providing ongoing feedback, conducting evaluations, supporting career development, and identifying future leaders. Contribute to a positive, collaborative office culture that reflects the firmโ€™s values and promotes accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning. Develop and supervise staff through effective delegation, training, and technical coaching.

  • Technical Tax Leadership

    Serve as a technical resource to clients and team members on complex tax matters. Review tax returns, workpapers, tax research, and other client deliverables to ensure quality and compliance with professional standards. Maintain technical expertise in one or more of the following areas: flowโ€‘through taxation, corporate taxation, individual taxation, estate and trust taxation, gift taxation, property taxation, multiโ€‘state taxation, and international tax reporting. Monitor tax law and regulatory developments and provide guidance on their impact to clients and engagements.

  • Client Service & Engagement Management

    Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service. Manage multiple client engagements, including planning, staffing, workflow management, and timely delivery of services. Identify and resolve engagement issues, communicate significant matters to clients and firm leadership, and ensure successful engagement outcomes. Manage governmental tax examinations and represent clients before taxing authorities when appropriate.

  • Practice Growth

    Support practice development efforts by strengthening client relationships, identifying opportunities to expand services, and participating in business and community networking activities.
