Job description

Job Title: Ticket Seller

Department: Box Office

Reports To: Box Office Manager or Team Leader Box Office

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt | Hourly

Job Summary

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an excellent and immediate opening for a Part-Time Ticket Seller at Coca-Cola Music Hall San Juan P.R. The Ticket Seller under direct supervision, processes single ticket sales, exchanges, and tax credits at the facility's box office. Also, acts as liaison between the facility and clients, ensuring all clients' requirements are met and facility rules, regulations and policies are adhered to.

Essential Duties

  • Greet and assist the public courteously in person.
  • Accurately manage and account for ticket inventory.
  • Assist customers with ticketing issues and resolve complaints professionally.
  • Maintain professional and polite relationships with co-workers, clients, and the public.
  • Keep work areas organized, clean, and professional.
  • Support the Box Office Manager and Team Leader with additional duties as needed.
  • Adhere to all Box Office policies and procedures.
  • Assist customers with Will Call tickets for events.
  • Provide accurate information regarding events, tickets, and upcoming schedules in person or over the phone.
  • Reconcile card transaction balances and receipts with the Team Leader or Manager at the end of each shift.
  • Create and maintain event floor enumeration for all types of events.
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of credit and debit card processing.
  • Use Microsoft programs (Excel & Word) effectively.
  • Operate event scanners with basic proficiency.
  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent; diploma preferred.
  • Proven experience in customer service and computer operations.

Additional Experience

  • Experience using ticketing platforms such as Ticketera and Vivenue is highly desirable.

Skills and Abilities

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Strong communication skills with the public and team members.
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately.
  • Basic knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
  • Commitment to excellent customer service and maintaining a client-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and manage different duties simultaneously.

Working Conditions

  • Work schedule is based on the facility's needs; part-time hours.
  • Primarily weekend shifts; flexibility required for occasional Friday events.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Must have reliable transportation and arrive to work as scheduled.
  • Ability to work long or irregular hours depending on event functions.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
