Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for directing and coordinating all aspects of the Company's global tax function, including the consolidated tax provision, U.S. federal, state, local and foreign tax compliance, international tax planning, transfer pricing, OECD Pillar Two, indirect tax, tax controversy and tax governance. Ensures the Company remains compliant with applicable tax laws while proactively managing tax risk and identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and optimize the Company's worldwide tax position.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement the Company's global tax strategy in support of business and operational objectives.
  • Provide strategic tax advice to executive management on domestic and international tax matters and coordinate with external tax advisors where appropriate.
  • Direct all quarterly and annual tax accounting activities, including ASC 740 tax provision, uncertain tax positions and related financial reporting disclosures.
  • Oversee U.S. federal, state, local and international tax compliance activities and ensure timely completion of all statutory reporting obligations.
  • Lead international tax planning initiatives, including transfer pricing policy, intercompany arrangements and operational implementation.
  • Direct the Company's OECD Pillar Two compliance programme, including GloBE calculations, safe harbor assessments, jurisdictional monitoring and coordination with external advisors.
  • Develop and maintain tax governance policies, technical memoranda and documentation supporting significant tax positions.
  • Maintain an enterprise-wide tax risk management framework through continuous monitoring of legislative developments and emerging tax risks across all jurisdictions.
  • Lead all tax audits, examinations and controversy matters with domestic and foreign tax authorities.
  • Provide technical leadership on U.S. Government contracting tax matters, including Status of Forces Agreements (SOFAs), Defense Cooperation Agreements (DCAs), U.S. Government contract structures and overseas operational tax matters.
  • Support Finance, Treasury, Legal, Contracts, Human Resources, Payroll and Business Development on complex commercial transactions, contract bids, international expansion, employment tax, VAT/GST and other special projects.
  • Develop and maintain tax organizational structure documentation, transfer pricing documentation and other tax governance documentation supporting the Company's worldwide operations.
  • Implement tax technology, automation and AI-enabled solutions to improve tax processes, reporting and data quality.
  • Develop tax policies and procedures and educate finance and operational personnel on tax requirements and emerging legislation.
  • Accurately forecast the Company's annual effective tax rate, cash tax obligations and significant tax exposures.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Fifteen or more years of progressively responsible corporate tax experience with substantial multinational tax experience.
  • Extensive experience in U.S. federal, state, local and international taxation.
  • Significant experience with ASC 740 tax accounting and financial reporting.
  • Extensive experience in international tax planning, transfer pricing and multinational tax compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and managing OECD Pillar Two requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. Government contracting tax matters, including SOFAs, DCAs and overseas operational tax structures.
  • Experience managing complex tax audits and tax controversy matters.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
  • CPA, Master's in Taxation or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to influence senior management and effectively collaborate across all business functions.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with Deltek Costpoint and other enterprise financial systems.
    • Experience implementing tax technology and automation solutions.
    • Experience leading AI-enabled process improvements within the tax function.
    • Experience supporting multinational organizations operating in highly regulated industries.
