  • Work with Tax Management team to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Support Managers, Sr. Managers and Partners in developing client relationships and to gain understanding of businesses.
  • Develop client relationships to become primary client contact on engagements.
  • Identify potential accounting and tax issues for Partner & Client discussion.
  • Create plans and goals to advise clients.
  • Prepare and review complex tax returns and workpapers.
  • Communicate timely changes to federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Establish and support best in class practices, procedures, and controls for the Tax Department.
  • Manage and develop staff.
  • Manage client workflow and ensure deadlines are being met.
  • Supervise tax returns and oversight of tax department work product as assigned.
  • Special projects

Requirements
• BS Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA or MST required
• 2-3 years' experience in a supervisory role at a Public Accounting Firm and 7-10 years tax experience.
• Strong planning, project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in QuickBooks, online and desktop.
• Proficient with Excel, Outlook and Word
