Job description

Coldstream Tax & Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Associate to join our growing team on South Lake Union in Seattle. If you're looking to develop your skills and collaborate with a friendly, supportive team, we'd love to connect.

For nearly 50 years, our team has provided a wide range of services to small businesses and individuals. In 2025, we merged with Coldstream, an employee-owned wealth management firm that offers personalized services to high-net-worth individuals and families. Coldstream was founded in 1996 and is headquartered in Bellevue, with additional offices in Seattle, Mercer Island, Kirkland, Portland, Bend, Boise, and Kenai, AK.

Our front desk is staffed Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Once you are fully trained and can complete projects independently, you will have the flexibility to work remotely -one to two days per week.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, corporations, and partnerships
  • Regularly interacting with clients to gather information and answer questions
  • Assist with tax planning and consulting
  • Opportunity to learn and support our wealth management business

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
  • Passed the CPA exam
  • 4-5 years of public accounting experience with preferably a focus on tax
  • Experience with high-net-worth individuals, trusts, corporate, and partnership taxation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to juggle multiple client engagements
