Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Tax Associate with strong technical expertise and client-facing experience to join our growing tax team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality tax services and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
  • Conduct tax research and stay current on tax law changes and IRS regulations
  • Assist in managing client relationships and proactively communicate with clients on tax matters
  • Mentor and review work of junior staff and interns
  • Identify tax planning opportunities and provide strategic advice to clients
  • Collaborate with other departments on tax-related matters (e.g., audit support, advisory projects)
  • Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements and best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s in Taxation a plus)
  • CPA license or progress toward CPA certification required
  • 3+ years of recent public accounting or corporate tax experience
  • Proficient in tax preparation software (e.g., CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, UltraTax) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong technical knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax laws
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines


Compensation:

Salary based on Experience but can be upwards of $110K+ base
