Receptionist for TUI Cruises

ISMIRA Agency actively recruiting for position Receptionist for TUI Cruises!

TUI River Cruises designed as boutique 'floating hotels' with a maximum of 155-190 guests, offering an intimate and relaxed atmosphere with a focus on immersive destination experiences. TUI Aria - adult only, modern & beautiful river ship, the largest in European fleet.

The Receptionist is responsible for the efficient operation of the Reception Desk, ensuring that passengers are treated in a polite and friendly manner and that their questions and concerns are handled correctly.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver professional, courteous, and consistent service aligned with company standards and procedures.
  • Perform guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
  • Handle guest complaints and special requests professionally, escalating to supervisors when necessary.
  • Communicate relevant information effectively within the team and across departments.
  • Maintain full display of all items in the onboard shop according to company standards.
  • Verify all people onboard (guests and crew) during departures and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Assist the 1st Receptionist with preparations for upcoming cruises and closing procedures for current cruises.
  • Process guest accounts, perform daily closings, and enter guest and crew information during embarkation.
  • Count and reconcile cash at each shift change.
  • Ensure proper handling and maintenance of all equipment, devices, and machinery.
  • Maintain and update the safety book according to instructions.

Requirements:

  • Age 18+ from EU and also all nationalities we work with
  • Senior Receptionist experience or even better Front Desk Supervisor + Purser + Finance
  • Ship experience preferred
  • No visible tattoos that can not be covered by uniform.
  • For non-EU candidates, a German Visa D will be required.
  • Safety certificates and US Visa are NOT needed.
  • Advanced level of English - spoken and written. No additional languages needed.
  • Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, ordering, and inventory control.
  • Able to remain calm and effective under pressure.
  • Comfortable working in multicultural environments.
  • Highly organized, disciplined, and dependable.
  • Strong problem-solving and complaint management skills.
  • Very good computer knowledge, especially in MS office.
