Tennessee Distilling Group, Ltd. in Columbia, TN is hiring a part-time Retail Associate who's ready to turn great customer service into an unforgettable experience.


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

As a part-time Retail Associate, you will welcome guests into the retail store and tasting room, delivering a friendly, professional experience. You will lead engaging spirit tastings, share product knowledge, and help guests select bottles and merchandise. You will process transactions accurately, verify identification, and ensure all service meets Tennessee laws and company standards. You will maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked space, communicate promotions, and collaborate with your team to keep daily operations running smoothly while supporting opening, closing, and additional tasks as needed.


What You'll Need:

  • 21+ years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid Tennessee Server Permit (or ability to obtain one prior to start date) and/or completion of recognized bartender training program
  • Clean driving record (No DUI/DWI convictions)
  • Basic math and inventory skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays
  • Knowledge and interest in whiskey, spirits or craft distilling
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and lift 50+ pounds with assistance
  • Ability to manage emotions under pressure and maintain professionalism
  • Ability to adhere to all company policies
  • Ability to operate a point of sale (POS) system and accurately process cash and card transactions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior retail experience, in a specialty food, beverage, or hospitality environment
  • Previous bartending or bar service experience
