Job description

Primary Responsibilities

Assist the General Manager in maintaining best in class customer service and satisfaction for the Booneshine tasting room / restaurant in Boone, NC.

Primary Responsibilities (Front of House Management)

  • Continuous evaluation of the guest experience and identifying areas of improvement
  • Oversight of restaurant and service during peak operational hours
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for the tasting room / restaurant
  • Weekly beverage and supplies ordering
  • Front of house staff scheduling
  • Maintaining health code standards
  • Maintaining merchandise inventory and reordering as needed
  • Assisting the General Manager with training development, shift lead coaching, and admin responsibilities

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update menus
  • Assist with orientation, training, and welcoming of new team members
  • Organize family meals and staff events
  • Staff development - work with shift leaders to develop creative problem-solving skills and identify areas of focus (i.e. communication between host, expo, and shift leads)
  • Developing and implementing a detailed cleaning and maintenance schedule
  • Attending weekly tasting room meetings

Review Period

  • Quarterly performance evaluation and reviews will be held with the General Manager
