Job description

  • Lead a team who upholds our "helpfulness" mission (outstanding customer service).
  • Order live goods and accessories, manage inventory and visual merchandising.
  • Stay informed of weather conditions, create and proactively implement a watering/plant protection plan ahead of adverse weather conditions.
  • Assist with marketing and social media campaign content.
  • Demonstrate plant and product knowledge to help customers with landscaping or gardening purchasing decisions.
  • Manage Gardens maintenance such as watering, weeding, housekeeping, etc.

  • 1+ years of retail management experience in a commercial nursery or store nursery/gardens department.
  • Computer proficiency with inventory control, point-of-sale software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Available to work 45 hours each week including Saturdays and more during peak seasons.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Use sound and proactive judgment.
  • Physical requirements: standing or walking throughout the shift outside in warm and cold temperatures, lifting up to 40lbs, bending, pushing/pulling, breaking down boxes, climbing ladder, etc.
