We collaborate with hotels, resorts, and other businesses nationwide to deliver expert-level interim and long-term support. While much of our work involves travel-based roles, we also offer local assignments for those seeking opportunities closer to home.

Job Summary:

The Pastry Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality desserts, pastries, breads, and baked goods in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards. This role supports the culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences for guests in a high-volume, upscale resort environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and produce a variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and baked goods
  • Follow standardized recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines
  • Ensure all food items are prepared in a timely and consistent manner
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen and workstations
  • Assist with buffet setups, banquets, and special events as needed
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the Pastry Chef
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
  • Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Pastry Cook or in a similar culinary role preferred
  • Knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, and dessert plating
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
  • Strong attention to detail and creativity in presentation
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights
