Charger Logistics is a world class asset-based carrier. We specialize in delivering your assets, on time and on budget. With the diverse fleet of equipment, we can handle a range of freight, including dedicated loads, specialized hauls, temperature-controlled goods and HAZMAT cargo.

We are looking for well experienced and dedicated Professional Security Guard to join our exciting, hard-working, and growing team at Brampton, ON location.

Must have a Valid Ontario Security Guard License and a Drivers license.

Must have 2 years of security experience.

Requirements are very specific please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements.

Basic Requirements:

  • Smart Serve MUST
  • Valid Ontario Security License MUST
  • First Aid/CPR Level C
  • Clean Appearance
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Applicants must be able to work Afternoons and Nights.

Job Duties:

  • Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
  • Patrolling and monitoring designated areas
  • Interacting with the public with a customer service approach to security
  • Enforcing the Trespass to Property Act.
  • Keep and eye on the floor and anticipates the needs of guests and fellow team members
  • Conduct bag checks as required
  • Effectively communicate with team and offer support staff as their needs may require
  • Looking out for instances such as threatening, fraudulent, and rude behaviors by the customers
  • Escalating and assisting law enforcement as required
  • Completing incident reports and required documentation for all security incidents Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • Valid Ontario Security License
  • Work with minimum supervision and respond quickly
  • Communicate effectively and calmly in a variety of situations
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification
  • Valid Smart Serve Certificate.
  • Able to work on the weekends (Friday and Saturday) and holidays, including late nights.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must hold and maintain valid applicable Security Guard License and First Aid & CPR Certification
  • Minimum 2 years of G license driving experience required with clean abstract.
  • Minimum of 1 year of tactical security experience would be an asset.
  • Familiarity with transportation yard operations and experience working in a busy logistics yard environment is preferred.
  • Valid Use of Force Hand-cuffing Certification would be an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills while being alert and detail oriented
  • Ability to exercise vigilance and multitask is required (Ability to prioritize, remain calm and multi-task under pressure in a dynamic environment)
  • Ability to de-escalate and diffuse challenging situations and successfully resolve customer issues in a diplomatic and professional manner
  • Computer/ tech savvy and adapt to new software's quickly
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal English
  • Strong decision-making ability - shows good judgment and confidenc
