Warehouse Associate – Indianapolis, IN

Are you looking for a full-time opportunity with a company that values hard work, teamwork, and growth?


Do you want a hands-on role that keeps you active while supporting customer deliveries and warehouse operations?

If so, Kirby Risk is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our Indianapolis team.

In this role, you'll help ensure materials are received, stored, picked, and delivered accurately and on time. You'll support day-to-day warehouse operations. We're looking for someone who takes pride in doing quality work, values accuracy, and enjoys being part of a team that supports both customers and coworkers.

What You will Do as a Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting warehouse operations and maintaining inventory accuracy while helping ensure customer orders are processed efficiently and safely.

Warehouse Responsibilities

You will:

  • Receive and unload incoming shipments.
  • Verify quantities and inspect materials for damage or discrepancies.
  • Accurately enter receiving information into the warehouse management system.
  • Communicate shortages, overages, or damaged materials to management.
  • Process returns and assist with freight claims as needed.
  • Perform inventory counts and cycle counts according to company procedures.
  • Pick, stage, and prepare materials for customer orders and branch transfers.
  • Move materials to designated warehouse locations using established processes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Assist with continuous improvement efforts that support operational efficiency.

What makes you a Great Fit:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical work throughout the day.
  • Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders up to 15 feet.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

What to Expect in This Role

  • Full-time position (40+ hours per week)
  • Monday–Friday schedule during standard business hours
  • Collaborative team environment with opportunities to learn and grow
