Join Anoplate as a Tank Maintenance Technician (TMT) and enjoy a schedule that works for you-choose your start time between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM prior to your offer and work four 10-hour shifts each week.
The Tank Maintenance Technician's job is to ensure finishing processes are within operating parameters and takes appropriate action necessary to maintain control of the process, extend bath life, and optimize performance. Engages operations, EO and
maintenance personnel in working together to maintain and continuously improve the performance of Anoplate solutions and the finishing products.
In This Role You Will:
  • Create daily task list using Tableau
  • Change solution filters at scheduled frequencies
  • Dispose of filters in accordance with Anoplate's established procedures
  • Monitor filter usage, adjusting frequency
  • when necessary to minimize waste
  • Maintenance of circulation pumps at scheduled frequencies, including but not limited to: Keep housing clean and free of debris, Fan blades cleared, Missing hardware replaced, Damaged housings or fan blades replaced as necessary
  • MP2 submitted for pumps requiring more work than basic hand tools can accomplish tank side.
  • Change rectifier filters at scheduled frequencies
  • Dispose of filters in accordance with
  • Anoplate's established procedure
  • Monitor filter usage, adjusting change
  • frequency when necessary to minimize waste
  • Clean exteriors of rectifiers at scheduled frequency
  • Refill anode material for electroplating tanks. Anodes are to be checked and filled if at scheduled frequencies.
  • Electrical connections at the tank disassembled,
  • cleaned, and reassembled at scheduled frequencies. Limble submitted for electrical connections not readily accessible.
  • Utilizes instructions in various forms (PCP, TrueChem, Work Instructions)
  • Maintain Tank Maintenance Carts: keep organized and clean, keep fully stocked by submitting purchase requisitions to supervisor to renew stock of consumables.

Requirements
Your knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • High school or GED required
  • HAZWOPER certification
  • LOTO training
  • Fork Truck certified
  • Basic Hand Tools
  • Communication: Both written and verbal skills.
