Job description

Exciting and highly rewarding opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer with a focus on industrial process piping and HVAC rail projects looking to join the team in Seattle!  This is a hybrid position.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work on a variety of projects (fueling facilities, loading/unloading systems, maintenance facilities, tank farms, pump houses, railyard operations)
  • Develop plans, studies, and detailed designs for industrial mechanical systems and building systems
  • Create process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, equipment layouts, and HVAC/plumbing systems
  • Assist construction administration, interpret plans, observe operations, and ensure everything meets specs
  • Work directly with clients
  • Work with other internal teams to define scope, manage budgets/schedules, and maintain quality standards

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited program
  • 6+ years of mechanical system design experience including piping, HVAC, plumbing, and industrial processes
  • PE License
  • Understanding of construction documents, specifications, and industry standards
  • Ability to manage project scope, budgets, and schedules effectively

 

Salary is commensurate with experience.
