CST Industries is offering challenging and exciting career opportunities for Bolted Tank Erector in Tank construction. We are seeking qualified candidates that are focused on safety, project success and working with a team to exceed customer expectations. Qualified candidates must be able to perform all duties listed below safely and follow all the company's safety procedures. Great opportunity to travel to project sites throughout the US. Can reside anywhere within the US, this is a remote position that will be traveling to project sites as needed.
Summary
  • Per diem ($45 per day) Hotels paid by company
  • Pay is based on Experience ($18.50 to $25.00 per Hour)
  • Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance & 401K with Company match options
  • Safety & Attendance Incentive Bonus Programs
  • Classified as "direct hire" hourly position with full time benefits; not contract work
  • Erect and install bolted steel tanks and/or domes
  • Part of a 4-6-man field construction crew
  • 100% continuous out-of-state travel working 6 to 7 days per week
Requirements:
  • Must be capable and willing to work continuously on the road up to 2 - 3 months
  • Must work in all hot & cold weather extremes
  • Must be capable of properly lifting a minimum of 150 pounds.
  • Must provide and wear steel-toed boots.
  • Must comply with all site and company safety rules and standards
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow safety procedures.
  • Must be capable of passing basic tests on safety such as "Contractor Safety Council"
Skills and Specifications for Construction Tank Assembler:
  • Experience with Geodesic Domes and Bolted Tank Installation is a PLUS.
  • Must be able to perform elevated work safely & confidently for extended periods while tied-off and wearing harness
  • Knowledge and ability to use common measuring instruments and hand tools such as tape measures, level, or square.
  • Ability to receive and comprehend verbal and/or non-verbal directions from Crew Foreman
  • Use a variety of hand & power tools, fixtures, work instructions, and other equipment to correctly assemble tank systems.
  • Lift, carry, or guide machine aided movement of assembly material such as steel sheets, channels, tubes, mechanical fasteners, & other items as requested/needed for tank assembly.
Education and Qualification for Construction Tank Assembler:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
  • Have current or able to obtain OSHA 10 hour training within the first 30 days of employment. This training is provided by the company for all new hires.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
  • Must have a valid driver's license or identification card
