The Role
GrizzlyTrek is seeking Industrial Shutdown Tank Cleaners to join our valued client's team for shutdown and turnaround projects based out of Hinton, Alberta. This is a full-time contract position focused on the safe entry and cleaning of industrial tanks and vessels during scheduled shutdown periods.
You will work as part of a coordinated shutdown crew, operating high-pressure water jets and vacuum trucks with safety at the centre of everything you do. The role includes travel to project sites throughout Western Canada as operational needs require.
What You'll Do
  • Safely enter and clean industrial tanks and vessels during shutdown periods
  • Operate high-pressure water jets and vacuum trucks for effective cleaning
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, particularly those related to confined space entry and working with high-pressure equipment
  • Coordinate with the project team to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
  • Inspect equipment and machinery before and after use to ensure proper functioning and safety
  • Participate in safety meetings and training sessions
  • Report any safety incidents or hazards to the supervisor immediately
