Ability to deploy 3rd party applications using the Tanium modules including Deploy
Tanium Systems Management tool - primarily Tanium Patch and Deploy Modules
Knowledge of Windows installer best practices
Understanding of Windows server OS and registry
Ability to build Windows server application installers and removals for enterprise with passive and silent switches
Server and workstation Windows Operating Systems (32-bit and 64-bit)
Advanced troubleshooting skills - root cause analysis
Fundamental networking concepts (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WINS)
Excellent verbal and written communication
Coordinate and communicate system changes among the network, operating systems, security, and application programmer groups
Perform highly complex system administration tasks on Microsoft Windows operating systems
Code, test, debug and maintain complex server/security automation workflows utilizing Ansible, PowerShell, Python, Batch, Ansible;
Excellent analytical skills to identify, research and resolve complex system issues
Tanium Enterprise Endpoint Management tool within a multi-site, 1000+ node environment
Provide agile project management for customer projects, including driving customer requirements, demonstrations, and deliverables
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and Run Book documentation.
At least 2 years of Tanium hands-on experience
Experience with Windows and Linux server management
Tanium Enterprise Endpoint Management tool within a multi-site, 1000+ node environment
Application packaging and deployment using Tanium Deploy module
Scripting: PowerShell, Python, Batch and command line
Workstation, server and virtual desktop/server environment support and troubleshooting
Follow ITIL processes (Incident, Change and Problem Management)
Respond to and troubleshoot service issues as reported and tracked through the department's ticket tracking system, Cherwell. Prepares and submits requests for changes (RFC's) before performing work on customer servers with emphasis on those running off-premise.
Work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and maintain production and quality standards.
Coach and mentor team members on Tanium modules.
Work with various vendors such as Tanium and Microsoft.
Master/Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited college
Tanium certification (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
Microsoft certification (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
