  • Oversee complex cases and provide guidance on diagnostics, treatment plans, and outcomes

Team Development & Mentorship

  • Mentor Associate Veterinarians and new graduates through coaching, case discussions, and performance feedback
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and collaboration
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of top veterinary talent

Medical Operations & Strategy

  • Partner with leadership to develop and refine clinical protocols, workflows, and quality initiatives
  • Collaborate with product and technology teams to optimize Tandem’s AI-driven tools and systems
  • Drive process improvements that enhance efficiency, patient care, and client experience

Client & Community Impact

  • Ensure exceptional client communication and trust-building across the team
  • Champion Tandem’s preventive care philosophy, promoting wellness plans and proactive medicine
  • Represent Tandem’s clinical excellence both internally and externally

Compliance & Standards

  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements

Qualifications

  • Education: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from an accredited institution
  • Licensure: Licensed (or eligible) in Massachusetts
  • Experience: 5+ years of clinical experience, with prior leadership or mentorship experience preferred
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop veterinary teams
  • Clinical Expertise: Strong diagnostic, medical, and surgical proficiency
  • Technology Mindset: Comfort with modern veterinary tools and enthusiasm for AI-driven systems
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and client communication skills
