Requirements:
  • 1+ year(s) experience in welding above ground storage tanks.
  • Must pass the following weld tests:
    • SMAW 2G, 3G, & 4G
    • FCAW 2G, 3G, & 4G
  • Must obtain and maintain active status within the drug testing program and pass background screening.
  • TWIC card may be required.
  • Be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must have excellent attendance and show up to work on time every day.
Responsibilities:
  • Utilize your welding skills to ensure the structural integrity of storage tanks through various techniques like stick and flux core welding.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure your welding tasks meet all specifications.
  • Inspect your work for quality control, promptly addressing any issues you may uncover.
  • Work alongside your team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols.
  • Keep your welding equipment in top shape with routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
