Our organization is on the lookout for a skilled OB/GYN Physician to become part of our dedicated team at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic.
The Opportunity:
Our OB/GYN clinic operates within Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, the sole community hospital serving the Interior Alaska region. We offer a comprehensive array of outpatient obstetric and gynecological services, including prenatal care, routine gynecological examinations, contraception counseling, menopause management, and assessments of common women's health issues. Our physicians cater to patients from Fairbanks and various surrounding rural areas, providing a diverse clinical practice with meaningful continuity of care. Additionally, a committed team of OB hospitalists ensures 24/7 in-house coverage at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, offering extra support for labor, delivery, and urgent cases.
The OB community in Fairbanks thrives on collaboration. Our physicians work closely with OB partners throughout the area, including private practices and the Alaska Native health system, meeting regularly to coordinate care and enhance obstetric services across the region. Providers in this role benefit from a supportive atmosphere with strong professional ties and a shared dedication to improving maternal care for patients throughout Interior Alaska.
Compensation: A base salary of $361,000 plus wRVU production bonuses, with average total compensation ranging from $407k to $480k. A sign-on bonus of $65k is also offered.
Schedule: Monday to Friday outpatient clinic hours along with shared call coverage. Enjoy 280 hours of approved time off and 80 hours for continuing medical education (CME).
Team: Collaborate with 2 OB/GYN Clinic Physicians, RNs, and MAs.
