Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager to lead our vibrant dining establishment to new heights. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient food production, and a welcoming atmosphere. Essential Duties

Responsible for restaurant sales, timing, controls and operations during assigned shifts, including all activities related to opening and closing restaurant

Direct efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products for prompt delivery within established speed of service guidelines

Motivate and direct team members and Shift Coordinators to exceed Guest expectations with fast and friendly service in clean surroundings

Complete checklists and procedures for cash reporting, inventory and labor control, timekeeping and operations during shift

Supervise and train Team Members and Team Leads on team stations, products, processes and policies

Follow cash control/security procedures, maintain inventory, manage labor, and apply financial reports across shifts to enhance restaurant results

Assist with implementing and executing marketing and fundraising initiatives

Delegate in a way that encourages teamwork during shift to ensure that the restaurant operations comply with Company standards

Enforce / Comply with the requirements of government regulations, labor laws, food safety, operations and Miller Management/BKC policies and procedures relating to all activities in the Restaurant

Collaborate with team members with identifying violations of safety, sanitation, security, and other company policies and providing necessary training and/or disciplinary action in accordance with the company's progressive disciplinary policy

As part of the restaurant management team, participate in recruiting, hiring, training and retaining effective team talent

In collaboration with management team, make decisions or recommendations on the discipline and/or termination of team members

Maintain and submit accurate records and receipts for purchases, bank deposits, repairs and service requests

Perform daily data entry and management of online POS, timekeeping, applicant and employee tracking databases

Ensure timely completion of all assigned/required training and certifications, i.e. Priority, Foundation and Regional Training, SafeServ Certification, etc.

Prompt and regular attendance for assigned shifts, meetings and training

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

3+ years of fast food / quick service restaurant management experience

Ability to recognize and solve routine problems

Effective customer service and general math skills

Upbeat, positive attitude with great ability to make quick, smart business decisions

Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts, including extra shifts, nights, weekends and holidays, as needed, for proper functioning of the restaurant

Proficiency with restaurant technology, company email and online ordering systems

Prior experience with SICOM POS and SEMS4 and Talent Reef a plus!

High School diploma or equivalent

Reliable transportation and willingness to travel

Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record

Ability to successfully pass a drug and background screening

Demonstrated English language proficiency that enables speech expression clarity and proficient reading and verbal comprehension

Must be at least 18 years of age

Physical Demands (list is not all inclusive)

Stand for up to 8 hours during a shift and able to lift 30 to 50 pounds

Requires you to use motion that entails pushing, pulling, stretching and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists

Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending and stooping

Kneel, stoop or crouch

Work with required chemicals

Occasional need to climb ladders, either inside or outside the restaurant

Use of hands and fingers to reach, grip, grasp, and twist

Work Environment

Regularly work in a fast-paced, ever changing environment

Ability to manage multiple tasks

Ability to read and understand verbal and written instruction on an ongoing basis

Interest and willingness to serve the public in a positive manner

While performing the duties of the job, frequently works near moving technical parts

Frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions

Exposure to equipment, chemicals and materials

Daily exposure to sharp utensils and slicers

Work schedule may vary from week to week and may include nights, weekends and holidays to ensure operational execution

Attendance is required at all mandatory management meetings and training classes
