Job description

Title: Operations Support Associate
Type: Contract - 5 days a week (M-F)
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite)
Compensation: $19/hr
Start: ASAP
Our firm has been retained by a transportation company in Phoenix, AZ to find an Operations Support Associate to join its designated market team. In this role, you'll provide on-site operational support at the assigned facility, ensuring efficient customer service and vehicle readiness.The ideal candidate is motivated, organized, and comfortable delivering hands-on support in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service and Vehicle Processing:
  • Assist customers with the rental process, including check-in, vehicle assignment, and rental return.
  • Prepare rental vehicles for drivers, including fueling, cleaning, installing telematics and license plates, and conducting vehicle inspections.
  • Manage and organize vehicle compliance documents.
  • Operational Support:
  • Organize the vehicle lot and coordinate vehicle transportation.
  • Complete daily rental operations tasks.
  • Report vehicle issues, program challenges, and bugs to the designated point of contact.
  • Standards and Communication:
  • Maintain the company's service standards when interacting with drivers.
  • Communicate effectively with on-site staff and remote support teams.
  • Provide clear, concise updates and maintain accurate documentation.
Qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience in an in-person customer service role like retail, technical support or hospitality
  • Familiarity with the market area
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and resolve problems effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to maintain patience, identify and solve problems, de-escalate situations, and work effectively in a team.
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license and a satisfactory driving record, and be insurable under Lyft's insurance policy.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
