Job description

We are excited to add a Learning & Development Specialistย to our training team! The position will pay betweenย $60,000 - $100,000ย based on previous relevant experience, educational credentials, and location.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Manage the content of the training program for the sales team to ensure all materials are up to date and compliant with all company guidelines and procedures. Ensure appropriate and timely communication of programs. Provide onboarding of any training needs. Create quarterly reporting for management review. Collaborate on projects necessary to ensure the continuous improvement of the training operations and curriculum focused on current strategy. ย 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Aid in the development and design of module training and/or program delivery
  • Collaborate and work with multiple corporate partners on various projects
  • Manage the credentialing process for the field sales team
  • Facilitate basic training and learning on companyโ€™s products
  • Deliver and schedule training courses via meetings, webinars, training modules/software programs, and other technology (e.g. WebEx, etc.)
  • Evaluate programs on an ongoing basis and make and/or recommend updates to enhance effectiveness and/or remedy issues
  • Maintain training database with accurate contract information and agency partners
  • Responsible for content governance to ensure training materials are current
  • Generate reports using the company Learning Management System
  • Maintain accurate training records of all required/completed training
  • Identify and recommend needed process improvements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree, plus 1-2 years of experience in area of responsibility/sales preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Specialized skill training; certification may be required
  • Prefer experience with Salesforce.com or other learning management systems

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

  • Ability to manage time and workload effectively; organized, flexible, and able to multi-task while maintaining a high level of efficiency and attention to detail
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to interact with both internal and external customers at all levels, with a focus on customer service and confidentiality
  • Ability to prioritize and respond with a sense of urgency to all inquiries and requests
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills

ย WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Be able to work remotely without supervision
  • Occasion meeting with sales training team at the corporate office
  • Role routinely uses standard office equipment
  • May require 20% of travel
