Physician – Obstetrics / Gynecology – Hospitalist in Wisconsin

Are you an Obstetrics / Gynecology physician searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in Wisconsin might be the perfect fit for you!

Opportunity Highlights
  • Schedule: 6p-6a shifts
    • In-house call required
    • Call room provided
  • Job Setting: Hospital
  • Clinical Volume:
    • Approximately 1,900 deliveries per year
    • 3-5 deliveries per day
    • Approximately 5 GYN emergencies per week
  • Types of Cases:
    • High-Risk Obstetrics
    • Preeclampsia
    • Gestational Diabetes
    • Preterm Labor
    • Fetal Anomalies
    • Postpartum Care
    • Abnormal Uterine Bleeding
    • Family Planning / Contraceptive Counseling
  • Role Responsibilities:
    • Cover the ER, floor, triage visits and calls for the entire shift
    • Answer first calls from AP floor service
    • Assist with cesarean deliveries
    • First call for ED consults
    • Assist with GYN surgery
    • Back-up/consults to CNMs and FP who do OB/GYN
Minimum Requirements
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics / Gynecology
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, DEA
