We are seeking a Learning & Development Program Manager to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity based in our Waltham, MA office.

Job Summary

The Learning and Development (L&D) Program Manager will own the development, implementation, and ongoing management of learning programs. This role will translate business priorities and employee needs into learning solutions that strengthen employee skills, people leader capabilities, and organizational effectiveness. The role combines program ownership with hands-on execution, including designing learning experiences, coordinating stakeholders and resources, delivering training, facilitating sessions, and using data and feedback to continuously improve program impact.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the lifecycle of L&D programs, from discovery and needs analysis through design, development, pilot, launch, administration, evaluation, and continuous improvement. 
  • Partner with key contributors to identify skill gaps and learning needs and to drive initiatives that aid in career development. 
  • Design and develop curricula, facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, blended learning experiences, and other resources. This includes partnering with our learning experience designers to develop e-learnings that support program objectives. 
  • Develop and manage Management Development Program, professional development initiatives and other enterprise learning initiatives. 
  • Plan and coordinate program delivery, including schedules, cohorts, communications, enrollment, technology, vendors, materials, and participant support. 
  • Manage Imprivata’s tuition reimbursement program and related processes and communications. 
  • Assist with creating and executing L&D strategies that help the organization’s growth, culture, and overall priorities. 
  • Establish evaluation and reporting approaches to measure participation, learner experience, knowledge or skill gains, application, and business impact. 
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and suggest improvements based on feedback and business requirements. 
  • Research learning trends and new technologies to ensure L&D programs are innovative and impactful. 
  • Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs), HRBPs, and external vendors to define, requirements, develop and deliver relevant training content. 
  • Use program data, stakeholder input, and learner feedback to uncover opportunities and drive continuous program enhancements. 
  • Identify resource needs and ensure that necessary materials, technologies, and support are in place for successful program delivery. 
  • Other duties as assigned and required. 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field. 
  • 3-5 years’ experience in learning and development, talent development, or a related discipline. 
  • Proven experience in managing L&D projects and programs from concept through implementation and ongoing optimization. 
  • Solid knowledge of adult learning practices, instructional design, and various training methods (e-learning, in-person, blended learning). 
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver engaging in-person and virtual learning experiences for varied audiences. 
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS), virtual learning platforms, and other training or content-development technologies. 
  • Effective project and program management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities simultaneously. 
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and stakeholder-management skills. 

This position offers a total compensation range of $90,000.00 to $100,000.00 (inclusive of base salary and variable compensation, such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata’s benefit offerings can be found here. This range represents the high and low end of Imprivata’s compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate’s location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
