Program Manager (Automation) CG Automation & Fixture (CGAF) is a leading manufacturer of check fixtures, gauges, models, and automated secondary equipment for the automotive as well as other industries, located in Comstock Park, MI (just north of Grand Rapids). We are a privately-owned business with a rich history spanning over 30 years. Our on-going success hinges on continued customer satisfaction. We are looking for a Program Manager to join our team, specifically to support our automation side of the business.  The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of complex program/project management experience in a fast-paced, highly fluid environment. Experience with a variety of highly involved electromechanical equipment is preferred. An individual who is able to deliver exceptional customer service and alignment with customers, project stakeholders, mechanical designers, and equipment builders is critical to success.  What You'll Do:The Program Manager is responsible for the overall success of a new project launch and maintaining a positive relationship with customers, both internal and external. In this role, you will:Develop and maintain timelines for tracking customer programs.Act as the primary liaison between the external customer and internal resources to address any questions pertaining to assigned projects.Provide resolution for any roadblocks threatening the success of assigned projects.Manage project budgets (material and labor) and escalate any overages to upper management.Create and maintain project Open Issues List through final customer approval of project.Meet with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.Analyze program risks and escalate discoveries to management.Possess proven experience in program management.Have competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.Preferably have a Bachelor's degree in Business/Engineering related field or equivalent experience.Bring forth a winning attitude!What You're Seeking:A place where you can be challenged and contribute to our goal of continued customer satisfaction.
