What You'll Do

  • Own the full candidate lifecycle, executing targeted, innovative sourcing strategies across multiple platforms to attract, negotiate, and close top-tier technical talent.

  • Partner as a Strategic Talent Advisor with senior hiring leaders across technical departments to align talent pipelines with Appian's long-term business strategy.

  • Leverage modern recruitment tech, embedding AI and automation tools into your daily workflow to optimize candidate engagement and streamline sourcing analytics.

  • Scale and continuously improve interview processes, onboarding frameworks, and hiring best practices to ensure an elite, frictionless candidate experience.

  • Drive Appian's employer brand in the marketplace, utilizing market insights and data to advocate for our mission and position us as the employer of choice.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (required).

  • 7+ years of proven success as a Technical Recruiter, with a strong background supporting highly technical domains.

  • Demonstrated mastery in data-driven recruiting, using market insights, metrics, and talent mapping to influence and execute hiring strategies with senior leadership.

  • Proven capacity to manage a high volume of complex requisitions with a high sense of urgency and tenacity.

  • Thoughtful, self-aware communicator with exceptional relationship-building and consultative skills.

  • Proficiency leveraging Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing platforms, including LinkedIn Recruiter, to drive an efficient, data-driven hiring process; Greenhouse experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced experience utilizing AI and automation tools for sourcing, candidate nurturing, and talent analytics.

  • Prior experience in Professional Services or corporate environments supporting high-volume, high-demand technical hiring.
