Tag Management Systems Engineer

Dallas, TX (4 days / week from office)

CTH/FTE

You will manage the digital analytics infrastructure and contribute to the development and deployment of web and mobile tags that are instrumental in capturing web and mobile users' data and used to inform critical business decisions and elevating our clients' experiences. You’ll collaborate with product, web and mobile development, and data engineering & analytics teams to configure tracking events, rules, and tag data layers using Tealium iQ and Adobe Analytics, validate and troubleshoot digital analytics data across environments, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with published policies and standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years implementing and managing a tag management solution such as Tealium iQ, Adobe Launch, Google Tag Manager, etc.
  • 3+ years implementing and managing server-side tagging solutions
  • 5+ years building and managing a tagging data layer
  • 5+ Hands-on management and administration of complex Adobe Analytics implementations
  • 5+ years debugging web & mobile tag data collection and configuration
  • 2+ years JavaScript programming to read tagging data layers, writing data transformation logic, and debugging code using browser developer tools or server runtimes like Node.js
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to clearly convey complex ideas and integrate feedback
  • Ability to define and solve complex problems with ambiguous or incomplete data in distributed systems
  • Commitment to quality—driving high standards including writing and executing tests at all levels
  • Demonstrated mindset of continuous improvement and learning

Preferred Qualifications:             

  • Experience implementing consent management solutions to ensure compliance with GDPR & CCPA
  • Experience implementing A/B testing solutions
  • Knowledge and experience building reports and dashboards using Power BI and/or Tableau
